With the new monochrome MV1-D1312I-40-CL and MV1-D1312I-160-CL cameras, with CameraLink interface, Photonfocus introduces a new series, based on the newly developed 3rd Generation CMOS imager A1312I from Photonfocus. The new CMOS imager A1312I was specially developed for NIR (Near Infra Red) applications up to 1100nm. The MV1-D1312I cameras provide a high dynamic range of up to 120dB with the well known LinLog technology patented by Photonfocus. The new cameras are equipped with all standard features needed for common applications whilst offering an outstanding image quality.
The A1312I image sensor series is designed and fabricated in a 0.35?m CMOS technology optimized for image sensors to achieve an outstanding sensitivity and quantum efficiency. The resolution of the new sensors is 1312 x 1082 pixels, with 8micron x 8micron square pixels and over 60% fill factor with an excellent image quality. The spectral range of the new A1312I CMOS sensor has an extended spectral range covering 350nm to 1100nm. Besides the overall excellent image quality it?s worth pointing out the remarkably high Near Infra Red (NIR) responsivity (Quantum Efficiency ca. 30% at 1000nm).
