 With the National Instruments PCI-8254R and NI PCIe-8255R image acquisition boards, you can trigger and synchronize multiple IEEE 1394 cameras without requiring additional digital I/O boards or custom circuitry. Both boards contain 29 digital I/O lines for synchronizing vision components such as cameras, triggers, and lights. They also contain quadrature encoder inputs, product selection lines, and general-purpose digital I/O for communicating with actuators, PLCs, and NI programmable automation controllers (PACs). brochure
